Melon Ridge in Rio Rancho, NM

Melon Ridge is a production-built subdivision in northern Rio Rancho, laid out along Melon Ridge Loop NE a short drive from the Northern Boulevard shopping strip anchored by Lowe's. Hakes Brothers, a New Mexico homebuilder, opened it in the winter of 2022 and has been filling the plat since. Floor plans come in three- and four-bedroom versions with two to two-and-a-half baths, and each one is offered in a Tuscan or Mediterranean elevation, which keeps the streetscape consistent from block to block. The whole tract falls inside the 87144 ZIP.

Hakes Brothers, founded in 2006, is the largest homebuilder headquartered in New Mexico and has since expanded into Texas. Melon Ridge was announced in tandem with a second company project across the river in Albuquerque.
