A quick note on titles: in New Mexico, every licensed agent is technically a "broker." Daria is an Associate Broker, meaning she's a fully licensed agent working under a Qualifying Broker (Hallmark Realty). She is not a mortgage broker, title officer, or appraiser — her work is residential representation, start to finish.
What she actually does
Most of Daria's work falls into four buckets:
Buyer representation. She walks buyers through offers, inspections, financing contingencies, and closing. For buyers, this is almost always free — commission is paid by the seller's side in most New Mexico transactions.
Listing representation. When you're selling, she handles pricing, MLS marketing, showings, and negotiation. Pricing is done with comparable sales data, not guesswork.
First-time buyers. A lot of her clients are buying their first home, often using FHA, VA, or New Mexico down payment assistance programs. She spends extra time here because most first-time buyers don't know what they don't know.
Luxury and relocation. Higher-end properties ($700K+) and clients moving to New Mexico from out of state — typically for jobs at Sandia, Kirtland AFB, Intel Rio Rancho, or UNM.
She also handles new construction, building lots, land sales, furnished rentals, and free home valuations. The full services list has everything in one place.
Her background
Before real estate, Daria worked as a lawyer and managed a legal department in Kyiv, Ukraine. That experience matters more than it may seem: real estate transactions are built around contracts, deadlines, disclosures, and contingencies, and missing a detail can cost clients real money. Careful contract review, risk analysis, and protecting clients’ interests were part of her work long before she entered real estate.
Coming from a legal background also gave her a different perspective on the industry. She understands how overwhelming and confusing real estate agreements can feel to people outside the profession, especially during major financial decisions. That’s why she focuses on explaining contracts in plain language, helping clients understand what they are signing, and identifying potential risks before they become problems.
Where she works
Daria covers the Albuquerque metro and surrounding communities in Central New Mexico:
Albuquerque — Northeast Heights, North Valley, West Side, Foothills, Tanoan, High Desert, Mesa del Sol
Santa Fe — selectively, mostly for relocation and luxury clients
She doesn't work outside New Mexico, but she can refer you to a licensed broker in the state you're heading to or coming from.
What makes her different
Two things, mostly.
She speaks Ukrainian and Russian. That's rare in Albuquerque, and it matters for Ukrainian American families, recent arrivals under humanitarian parole, and Russian-speaking professionals relocating for work at Sandia, Kirtland, Intel, or UNM. Buying a house in your second language is hard. She can walk you through the contract in your first one.
She's not a team broker. A lot of busy agents hand you off to assistants and transaction coordinators after the first meeting. Daria runs her transactions herself, which means fewer clients at any one time but direct accountability throughout. If you call the number on this page, you get her — not a junior agent on a routed lead pipeline.

Good reasons to reach out
A first conversation is free and there's no commitment — you're not signing anything by calling. Some of the most common reasons people get in touch:
You're thinking about buying or selling in the next 12 months and want a read on the market.
You're moving to New Mexico and need someone who actually knows the neighborhoods, schools, and commute routes.
You're a first-time buyer and want to know what programs you qualify for before you start looking.
You want a free comparative market analysis on a home you already own.
You'd rather work with someone in Ukrainian or Russian.
