Mirehaven in Albuquerque, NM

Mirehaven is a master-planned community on Albuquerque's far west side, opened by PulteGroup in 2015. Petroglyph National Monument open space wraps three sides of it, and the Mirehaven Arroyo cuts through the middle as a private open-space corridor carrying more than six miles of walking and biking trails. The plan splits in two: a gated Del Webb section restricted to residents 55 and older, built around a 10,000-square-foot amenity center with a pool and a fitness room, and a family-oriented section of one- and two-story houses with pocket parks.

Del Webb chose the site for its first Albuquerque community, buying the ground from Western Albuquerque Land Holdings and taking pre-sales in late 2014 before the first homes opened. Bohannan Huston handled the survey work, civil engineering and construction oversight.

Del Webb Mirehaven is the sub-community recorded here. It is the age-qualified half of the plan, the part that sits behind the gate, and it holds the amenity center that the rest of the neighborhood does not share.

Governance is split. The Estates at Mirehaven Community Association runs the Del Webb side, the Manors at Mirehaven association covers houses outside the gate, and a separate neighborhood association sits alongside both. Associated Asset Management staffs the Estates association.

Interstate 40 and Paseo del Norte are both close, and downtown sits about ten minutes east. Nusenda Westside Stadium and the Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex are the nearest large draws.
