Aspire in Albuquerque, NM

Aspire is a master-planned community on Albuquerque's Southwest Mesa, an 83-acre development reached from 98th Street south of Interstate 40. Price Land Development Group acquired the land in 2018 and opened the community in 2021, building it out in phases with D.R. Horton. Four gated entrances control access. Roughly seven acres go to parks, landscaped areas and community gardens, including a central park used for gatherings and food trucks. Walking trails and a playground fill out the shared space. Atrisco Heritage Academy sits across Dennis Chavez Boulevard, and the Sandia and Manzano ranges stand on the eastern horizon.

Infrastructure here was financed through a public improvement district, the first on Albuquerque's Southwest Mesa. The Aspire district's notice of information took effect in September 2021, and the arrangement covered the cost of putting streets and utilities in the ground ahead of construction.

The Aspire Community Association owns and maintains the shared property, with Associated Asset Management, which works locally as NM HOA Management, handling administration. Dues run monthly and cover common areas, road maintenance, grounds keeping and security.

Build-out is scheduled to wrap in early 2027. The community took a NAIOP Residential Award of Excellence in 2024 and held Zonda's ranking as the top active project in the Albuquerque metro for two consecutive quarters.

Rudolfo Anaya Public School and George I. Sanchez Collaborative Community School both stand within roughly a mile. Sierra Sunset Park, a city park with two playgrounds, walking paths, picnic tables and a wide grass field, sits at Amole Mesa and Messina, close to one of the entrances.
