You start seeing horse trailers and metal shops behind the houses. That's North Albuquerque Acres, and most people looking at North Albuquerque Acres homes for sale are here for one reason: they want land inside Albuquerque, and there isn't much of it left.The plat is old and it explains almost everything about the place. In 1931 the Norins Realty Company of California bought 5,700 acres out of the Elena Gallegos Land Grant and cut it into a grid of one-acre rectangles, then sold the lots by mail to buyers around the country who mostly never laid eyes on them.
