Downtown-Adjacent Home on an Oversized LotOpportunity knocks at this 2-bedroom, 1-bath home just steps from Downtown Albuquerque, sited on an oversized corner lot with roughly 100 feet of frontage and 142 feet of depth a single combined legal parcel that's substantially larger than a typical in-town lot.Inside, the home features beautifully refinished original hardwood floors and a covered front porch solid bones with genuine character. But the real value here is the land. A lot this size, this close to downtown, is increasingly hard to find offering serious potential for expansion, an ADU, additional parking, or long-term appreciation as the downtown corridor continues to grow.Investment Highlights:- Single combined lot: Lot 6 plus the south 4' of Lot 5, Block 9, Huning Highland Addition- Approx. 100' of frontage and 142' of lot depth well beyond typical in-town parcels- Corner location with alley access at the rear- Zone X flood designation (not in a 100-year flood hazard area)- Walking distance to downtown dining, breweries, entertainment, and the Rail Trail- Strong rental fundamentals given proximity to downtown employment and nightlifeWhether you're an owner-occupant looking to put down roots downtown or an investor eyeing land value and rental upside, this property offers flexibility that's tough to match at this price point.

Look at Huning Highland homes for sale and you're looking at brick and wood frame, not adobe. The people who bought here came from back east, ordered house parts out of catalogs, and had them shipped in on the train they'd just followed west. What the houses are actually likeQueen Anne, Italianate, folk Victorian, a run of 1920s bungalows, some Prairie School, a little Pueblo Revival mixed in later. Most of what stands went up between the 1880s and the 1920s. The Horner House on High Street dates to 1881 and is generally called the oldest in the district.Lots are small and the grid is tight.
