Willow Wood in Albuquerque, NM

Willow Wood is a residential subdivision in southeast Albuquerque, sitting between the Juan Tabo Hills neighborhood to the east and the Kirtland Air Force Base boundary to the west. Charter put up most of its single-family houses in the middle and late 1990s, on a street grid that has stayed a shortcut for drivers heading toward the base's Eubank gate. A homeowners association maintains the shared ground, covers security and road upkeep, and reviews exterior changes against recorded covenants and architectural guidelines. Children living here are served by Highland, Van Buren and Manzano Mesa.
