Hidden Valley in Albuquerque, NM

Hidden Valley is a residential neighborhood in southeast Albuquerque, in the 87123 area near the Singing Arrow community center. Construction began in the mid-1970s and continued through the 1980s, with a last group of houses added in the early 2000s. The Hidden Valley Community Services Association holds the common property: roughly eight acres of grass and mature plantings, a clubhouse, a swimming pool that opens between Memorial Day and Labor Day, basketball and volleyball courts, and a pond. A shaded pergola with picnic tables and a grill sits beside the pool, and residents can rent the clubhouse for their own gatherings.

The City of Albuquerque lists the Hidden Valley Community Services Association among the registered homeowner associations in Council District 9. A seven-member board directs it, and meetings land on the third Thursday of each month at the clubhouse, open to any resident who wants to attend. Sentry Management handles the day-to-day administration.

Dues are billed monthly and pay for the shared ground rather than the individual houses: grounds and landscape maintenance, the pool season, the clubhouse and courts, and the utilities behind them.
