Avalon in Albuquerque, NM

Avalon is a residential subdivision on Albuquerque's West Mesa, laid out around 90th Street NW between Los Volcanes and Bluewater roads. Its streets run to a nautical theme, with names like Starboard, Schooner, Mainsail and Halyard. Avalon Park, a small city park on Starboard Road NW, sits inside the neighborhood and serves the blocks around it. Housing is detached single-family, on a plat that filled in well before the newer subdivisions farther west, and the whole area covers roughly a square mile of the Westside grid.
