About Altura Park
Altura Park is a compact residential neighborhood in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights, bounded by Indian School Road on the north, Constitution Avenue on the south, Washington Street on the east and Morningside Drive on the west. It grew up around the seven-acre city park that gives it its name, land the Keleher and Coe families granted to Albuquerque in the 1950s; the first houses went up along Hannett before the streets were paved.
