Estrella at High Range in Rio Rancho, NM

Estrella at High Range is an LGI Homes subdivision on Saddleback Trail in northern Rio Rancho, inside the larger High Range development where the same builder earlier built Entrada. It opened for sales in late September 2025 and is still filling in. The centerpiece is a five-acre park slated for mid-2026, with a play structure, a shade ramada, picnic tables and a turf field, alongside a basketball court and a fenced dog park. Houses carry stucco exteriors with stone accents, covered patios and attached two-car garages, and the drive into Albuquerque runs about half an hour.

Every house here belongs to a homeowners association, billed monthly. The park is being funded by the builder and sits inside the subdivision rather than being inherited from an older phase of High Range, which has its own neighborhood park a few streets away.

Rio Rancho's largest employers, Intel and Hewlett-Packard among them, are inside the city limits. The Albuquerque International Sunport is roughly 25 miles southeast, and the Rio Rancho Events Center is a short drive from the neighborhood.

Interiors come with a full suite of Whirlpool appliances and walk-in closets off the owner's suite; the larger plans add a game room.
