Paradise Skies in Albuquerque, NM

Paradise Skies is a single-family subdivision in the Paradise Hills area of northwest Albuquerque. Longford Homes of New Mexico developed it in the late 1990s, one of several Albuquerque subdivisions the company carried at the time. The neighborhood holds its own city park where Sagittarius Avenue meets Rockcliff Court: two tennis courts, a full basketball court, a soccer field ringed by a paved walking loop, and a playground across roughly four and a half acres. Detached houses sit on platted city lots, and no homeowners association collects dues. Paradise Hills Golf Course, the area's namesake course, is close by.

Longford Homes of New Mexico built through limited partnerships and ran several projects in the same stretch of years, among them Crystal Ridge and Mountain View. Landscaping crews were finishing work at Paradise Skies by February 1999.

Albuquerque Public Schools serves the subdivision, with Sierra Vista Elementary, James Monroe Middle and Cibola High taking students from these streets.

The wider area is represented by the Paradise Hills Civic Association, which appears on the city's roster of recognized neighborhood and homeowner associations. Paradise Skies carries no separate association of its own on that list.
