Where Nob Hill actually isDraw a box: Lomas on the north, Washington on the east, Garfield and Zuni on the south, Girard on the west. That's the line the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association drew back in 1987, and it's the one people still use, though nobody has ever made it legal. Most of the Nob Hill homes for sale sit within about a half mile of Central and Carlisle, which is the entire point of living here. Mail splits between two ZIPs. The UNM side runs 87106, and once you get east and south of roughly Carlisle you're into 87108.The name came from a promoter. D.K.B. Sellers platted the first piece of it in 1916 and borrowed the name from San Francisco, telling buyers to move out of the low zone and up to the ozone. He wasn't wrong about the ozone part.
